Surfside Players Playwriting Contest

Surfside Playhouse is proud to announce the winner of the
2006 Playwriting Contest:

A Ghost to Die for
by Judy Bate.

Surfside Playhouse started a Playwriting Contest in 2001, and has developed into a successful annual event. Playwrights living in Brevard are encouraged to submit full-length plays which are reviewed by three highly-qualified judges who are not connected to Surfside. The winning play is produced in the summer, and these productions have become very popular with audiences and actors.

The Playwriting Contest coordinator is Arlan Ropp. Anyone seeking more information about the contest may contact him at (321) 636-0900 or at oldropp@aol.com.
